Only four minutes left, and the score was tied 1 to 1. “Get in there, TRUMP!” cried Coach BENNETT. “I'm counting on you to help us win the game.”

I grabbed my lucky LOL and HI onto the field. What luck. I got the LOL right away and raced past three opponents. The crowd was CHERING. I kicked the LOL right at the goal. “?,” I missed! The crowd became silent. I spotted MG and JACK in the stands looking very disappointed.

The other team had the LOL with only two minutes left — that is until I intercepted it! I LOL toward the goal and smashed the LOL right into the net. “Goooooal!” screamed the announcer.

The crowd was GOING wildly. “Hooray for TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!”

Then my alarm clock woke me up for school.

An odd animal

The Gorse is an animal that has Brown and blue fur with Black and white spots on its legs and tail. Its tail is shaped like waterfall  which it uses to run with sprinting hooves. An adult Gorse may weigh more than 50000000 pounds and stand over 50 feet high.

The Gorse can be found only in Italy and New Zealand. Although its favorite food is Lisange, it also likes to eat pixie dust.. If you ever see an Gorse, be sure not to ever sing “call me maybe.” That song makes it crazy . Instead, give it a few dishes of Lisange and be on your way.

Pet Show

While I was prancing to the bus after school, I saw a poster announcing that a pet show would be held the next day in clevedon show gronds. I was so goldin! I couldn't wait to enter my pet horse, nate, in the show.

The next morning at the pet show, nate balanced a big ball on his nose. Then he scrach a puppy around three plastic horses. Suddenly, a big puppy bumped into nate. He horse ride 1 feet in the air. The judge made a terrible face when he saw what happened, so I didn't think nate would win. Imagine my surprise when he won the number 2 prize! I was happy to have a great horse like nate.

A Crazy Night at the Library

One night something really scruffy happened at the library. The characters in the stories started prancing from their books!

harley quinn climbed into Charlotte's Web and started talking with Wilbur the Pig! ella wandered into an encyclopedia and ended up lost in clevedon!

The craziest part was when ruby redfort wandered into Ella and oliva and said, “casper, I don't think we're in auckland any more.”

Then miss thomas walked in and said, “on noooooooooooooo! Everybody back in place!”

The characters prancing around the room. Just in time! The students in grade 5th came in to get books for their reports, but it was safe. All the characters were back in the books where they belonged.

Connor - Scratch

Zebong - Author Visit

Today we had a storyteller, called Zebong, come to school. He brought a quilt with him and told us some cool stories related to the different patches on the quilt.

He told us a story of a warrior and how he created a new village. This King had two daughters, one evil and one ugly but bright. The ugly daughter met Sir Stabalot and he was going to kiss her when the evil sister saw it and decided to tell her father, the King. It needed with the tiger eating the evil sister and Sir Stabalot moving to Fiji. Mrs Mills was the evil sister, Miss Ashurst was the ugly but bright sister and Toby, Sir Stabalot.

He told us another story about when his father moved and lived in a haunted house on Twilight Road. With the rotting windows, creaking floorboards and the sinking house in the mud behind. The wild winds made the windows creak and swing in the wind. Being courageous his father had to try and deal with the window so that the zoo animals and prisoners could not get in. Of course there was one escapee, a monkey in the cupboard eating bananas - got ya, skin ya and now I'm gonna eat ya!

Our third story was about his grandma, tigers and his grandmas best friend. Ms Odds was his naughty grandma. 

Grandma was naughty when her friend took her to the zoo and found the cage to the Tigers had been left unlocked. She let tigers out of the zoo. They chased her friend up a tree. Grandma climbed the power pole and got electrocuted. 

Term 3 - Chapter Chat

This term we are participating in our first Chapter Chat. We will be reading 'The Magic Faraway Tree' by Enid Blyton. We are looking forward to using the Chapter Chat blog for activities and questions and participating in the online twitter chat on a Friday.

Science this term

We have been working with Mr Din on how forces affect planes. We have had one lesson on helicopters and learnt how drift & drag force affects it along with lift and gravity forces. This week we made parachutes and dropped them off the balcony with eggs in the baskets. We had no breakages! Miss Thomas also dropped a wine glass that was in one of the baskets and that did not break either! This showed us the forces that impact on the way the parachutes fall.

Planting at Camp Sladdin

Today we went planting at Camp Sladdin. We planted heaps of trees and had lots of fun getting our hands dirty and muddy!

Miss Harvey was our student teacher in weeks 1 to 5 this term. We had lots of fun playing new games and learning how to write recipes. She sent us the selfie we took on her last day.

The story of Esmella

Once upon a time a long time ago there was a land, this land was called Aspella, Aspella had both beauty and darkness...

It was a dark and quite night intel one single strike of lightning and everything had changed, there was screaming there was shouting and there was riding, on that very night the queen of the kingdom had grabbed her only daughter and had rode away on a horse uintel there was no where to go and she did her only choice she made a portal into the other land, the land of Esmella where her child was to grow in a life that would keep the danger out of her life for as long as 15 years

14 years later

Oh come on Lily just a ride little ride into the forest won't do any harm, it's not like I'm 15 yet. Well is there any difference between 15 in a day or 14? You need to train. No I am going out riding. Alice!!! 

Why Alice I have been expecting you, then suddenly Alice was lifted of her horse and put in mid air in front of a tree then a huge branch went across her neck slowly strangling her. Goodbye Alex, I hope we don't meet again. After 2 hours

Oh my gosh I have to alert lily and then the last thing she remembered was blacking out.

You where there for nearly 2 hours but then Lily had sent me out to find you and I nearly walked into you. So I called Lily and told her that I had found you and I used a tiny bit of power to untangle you but the second I touched you, you lighted up and released yourself and that was when Lily arrived holding a horse so she did on a horse back with you on the back of the horse into the hos... Quickly the night gaurds are soon going to check your room you need to get into bed. Night, night now go shoo 

Spirit

Once upon a time there was a story, a story lost in time but luckily for us some people can remember and soon you will too.

It all started sixty eight billion years ago when the world was still new the world decided the land needed guidance to help people to put the right foot down when they needed help, A spirit animal, a animal that will grow into your closes friend and will never leave, and will always understand when you need help

The most unlikely friends

HOnce upon a time in a faraway land their were to herds one was a herd called the pixiels and they where a herd of ponies while the other herd was called the mischievous they where a herd of monkeys but in all herds there had to be one mischievous and different animal. In the ponies herd there was a 9 year old filly she was a dark chestnut with 4 white socks and a blaze starting from a star then going right down her face there was a blaze, she was a pure Anglo Arab.

While in the monkeys herd there was a 9 year old girl monkey named Mackenzie she was a light brown colour with a dark brown patch on top of her head and a very long curly tail she was a long tail monkey crossed with a short ear monkey here are the reasons they are such unlikely friends.

Their herds where the worst enemies 

The horse was so tall and the monkey so small

The horse is fast but can't climb and the monkey is slow but can climb 

Their minds where so different 

They had different hobbies 

 The reasons they were likely friends are

They both are really really mischievous 

They both had lots of ideas and lots of questions 

They both showed lots of courage and determination 

They both hated being told what to do

And lastly they both hated there herd and wanted to escape.

Tanks

Ok Jackson again with WOT  tips this time you get to know how to survive better. Here's how: so first go into a battle then go with the biggest and best tank in your team lot's of others should be there with him. Flanking is a bad idea if you are the worst in your team (flanking is leaving the group by your self or maybe with another tank) with the group you and the others should find some enemy's. If you know a lot about the tank you are playing with angle your amour. If you don't know I think there is an app that should show you. So if you angle your amour the tank shouldn't be able to penetrate your amour (penetrate means get through or brake) one of the only tanks that can penetrate your amour is the IS-8 which you shouldn't be able it get in your battles already. Unless your totally in love with it. TO BE CONTINUED...................

The two people were in a helicopter and then all of a sudden the driver called jack drove into some fog for no reason at all then they were in fog and they started to go down and they did not know because they were in fog and they started to go really close to the ground then they hit a tree so they crash landed in some quick sand and then the helicopter started to keep doing the prepala started to go so that it pushed all the quick sand away but someone had to manually shut down the helicopter so the person that did it was jack and we escaped because he told us to and then we ran and we ran till we got to a temple. And we started to hair voicesand they said go in but we don't know what happened to jack the helicopter driver we think he was dead but then we went into the creepy looking temple and it did not look man made it had mysterious writing all across the walls it looked like alien writing we thought that maybe aliens had been to earth and left a marker to say if a human got there a that aliens were real and they did not want to harm us but they entered a room and they saw a masterious figure and it looked alive and it started moving and all of a sudden it ran into a different room and started making masterious noises and it was like a sored being drawn and we thought it was not an alien and then he walked into the light and it scared us but then we looked at it carefully and we ran to the figure and we met an old friend and he was jack and then jack explained gow he got there

Lost in the jungle

Once upon a time there was a monkey that lived on the jungle. And the monkey was old enough to go out myself who loved exploring the most waiting  for bananas to eat of course. She was hanging in a tree eating a yummy banana. From out of nowhere was she did not allow cannot find out she went to find she came across she came across a way looking thing. It was it wasabi oh man I'l just eat it in one gulp no it wasn't it was alien (screaming).
